A little bit about us

Ryton CC was founded in 1894, and is one of the longest serving clubs in the Tyneside area. Ryton currently play in the Fosters Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League, http://northtynescl.play-cricket.com/home/home.asp

The club has 2 Saturday teams and a 3rd XI which plays in the North East Midweek League. The club also boasts an Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 18 junior section. There are over 50 junior playing members, many who resprent the senior teams. The club has been recognised as a focus club, working towards the prestigious Clubmark award, and has strong links with local primary and secondary schools.

Selection of teams takes place on a Tuesday night, with the club opening from 8pm. Team captains will inform players of their selection on that night. Teams will also be displayed on the News page of the website each week.
